The wonderful world of Vocaloid

Love is War - Hatsune Miku

I mentioned Miku in another entry. She is a Vocaloid - a digital voice. It's a Japanese program you can buy to create songs.

Not only is the technology itself amazing but the user created film clips for Vocaloid songs are also amazing. They are made in a number of different ways from simple drawings to 3D animations.

This particular song I have posted was really enjoyable for me to listen to but I also loved the imagery. The artwork has some beautiful use of contrast with a limited colour pallette.
